In this defense base TH5, (Hybrid, War / CWL Layout), the town hall is placed in the center section of the base along with two elixir storage and two gold storages. Walls are placed around it. This section is connected with four sections. A wizard tower, a mortar, cannons, an archer tower and an air defense are placed in these sections.
These sections are also secured by walls. All the remaining buildings including elixir collectors, gold mines, builders’ huts, an archer tower, a cannon, a spell factory, a laboratory, army camps and other resource and defense buildings are placed outside the walls to confound the troops.
In this article, I am sharing a demo of an attack on this base for better understanding.

Here are the steps for the complete attack on this base with the above army:
With the above army, the attacker will deploy balloons near the outer buildings to make the attack vigorous. He will cast lightning spells on the town hall to destroy it. Our defense buildings will start attacking them. He will deploy the wizards near the elixir collectors and other buildings to attack more buildings.
His army will destroy the archer tower, cannon and other buildings. Our defense buildings including archer towers, cannons, air defenses and some other defense buildings will do a great attack on multiple troops and destroy some of them.
He will deploy the archers behind the wizards to intensify the attack. He has already used the major part of his army just to destroy one side of the base. Our defense buildings will do a great attack on multiple troops and destroy them.
The army will do their best to enter the inner sections but our defenses will give them a tough time. Our defense buildings will strike against them and tear them down. As a result, the attacker will not be able to get a single star just because of our strong defense mechanism and good layout strategy.
