Clash of Clans TH16 Anti 2 Star Bases are designed to keep the main Townhall 16 building safe. These layouts will not let the attackers get 50 percent damage and the TH16 building should not be broken in the attack. So the attacker will get only 1 star on your TH16 base.
In this th16 anti 2 star base, the townhall is placed in the center of the base along with a builder’s hut, spell towers, air sweepers, and a clan castle. There are different parts connected with each other. In the first two parts, we have placed wizard towers, gold storages, inferno towers, and different traps.
We have placed elixir storage, monolith, builder’s hut, and spring traps. There are two sections in which we have placed scattershots and giant bombs. Moreover, four more sections have open ends. In the first two sections, we have placed air defenses, mortars, elixir collectors, and air bombs.
We have placed gold mines, dark elixir storage, dark elixir drill, and giant bombs in the other two sections. All the other buildings are placed outside the walls to slow down the attacker’s troops.

In this article, I am sharing a demo of an attack on this base for better understanding.
Here are the steps for the complete attack on this base with the above army:
The attacker will deploy electro-dragons on one side of the base. The inferno towers will destroy some of these electro-dragons. He will deploy balloons behind the electro-dragon to cause more destruction. Few of these will get killed by the inferno tower and monolith.
He will deploy a stone slammer near the archer tower to destroy it. Then he will deploy the barbarian king, grand warden, and royal champion with their pets to damage the other resources.
After destroying a few buildings they will be damaged by the base defenses. He will use an overgrowth spell on the X-bow to save his troops for a while. He will use a freeze spell on the townhall to survive more on this base and cause more destruction.
He will have already used 90 percent of his army. He will use rage spells on his remaining troops to increase their speed and become strong for some time to destroy the buildings.
Due to this strong base, he will face defeat and get nothing. He will not be able to get two or even three stars from this base.
