Upgrading townhall to level 4 unlocks new air defense and spring traps. It takes three hours and costs 25,000 gold to upgrade to TH 4. Clash of clans bases th4 has more things than th3.

Upgrading to level 2 costs 40,000 elixir and 4 hours. There is no change in appearance.

Upgrading the wall breaker to level 2 takes 6 hours and costs 100,000 elixir.
Upgrading barracks at townhall 4 brings a flying troop “Balloon”. Upgrading it to level 2 takes 8 hours and 125,000 elixir.
It costs 100,000 elixir and takes five hours to upgrade to level 4 per camp. Roasting chicken appears on the campfire after upgrading.
Clan Castle can upgrade to level 2 with 100,000 elixir and its upgrade time is eight hours. Reinforcement is increased for troops up to 15 housing spaces and the gold & elixir storage capacity is increased up to 600,000. Changes can be seen on its stronger roof.
Laboratory level 2 upgrade requires 25,000 elixir and an hour. Its building has an additional cylinder connected with a pipe and a reading meter.
Upgrading the barracks to level 6 takes 12 hours with 120,000 elixir, ( another balloon troop unlocked here). Walls are removed and a wooden ladder is tied beside its hut, which seems to be here for repair. It is a very important building in Clash of Clans layouts th4.
Archer Tower can upgrade to level 4 in three hours with 20,000 gold coins. Green hanging flags appear on its sides and its stony supports become longer.
You can upgrade the cannon to level 5 with 50,000 Gold which takes an hour to upgrade. Its color became darker, and the third ring appeared on its muzzle, highlighting the turns on its barrel.
Mortar can upgrade to level 2 which costs 25,000 gold and three hours to upgrade. A golden strip is rounded on its shell and the color of its holding base turns into light shiny blue and golden.
Townhall 4 unlocks this new anti-air defense tower which takes three hours and 22,000 gold to build. At level 2 it has two firecrackers that will double its damage effect after upgrading with 90,000 gold in six hours.
At town hall 4, 25 more walls are added and a total of 75 of them can upgrade up to level 4 which costs 10,000 gold per wall. After upgrading, their color turns dark gray and shines like metal.
After upgrading the elixir collector to level 8, some new bolts are added on its base and top of the glass jar, another steering wheel is added to the brown container, and the pipes become broad. It costs 28,000 gold and six hours to upgrade.
Upgrading the gold mine to level 8 costs 28,000 elixir and takes six hours of upgrade time. Now it is fixed by double blue metal strips with copper nuts and a lock appears on its top.
Upgrading it to level 8 costs 50,000 gold and five hours to make it bigger and more shiny.
Upgrading it to level 8 costs 50,000 elixir and five hours. Heavy marble supports with blue-colored sharp spines are added on its sides.
No upgrade is available and no new bomb is added at this townhall level. It looks the same as the bomb of the town hall 3. No change in visual appearance.
A pair of spring traps is unlocked with townhall 4. They simply look like a wooden box with a hidden spring inside it.
