Townhall 5 needs 150,000 gold and six hours to upgrade. It comes with new defenses including air bombs, a wizard tower, and a new spell factory. The wooden doors and windows of the town hall building are now constructed with light gray stone.

If you are designing your th5 COC layouts, then it’s very important to know about every building, defense, and all other things available on th5. Because these things are used in designing the th5 layouts. We have covered all the max levels of th5 buildings, their hit points, and other stats as well.

Laboratory level 3 upgrades barbarian to level 3 with the cost of 60,000 elixir taking 5 hours. The barbarian tie a brown sweatband on his head after upgrading to level 3.
Archer upgrades to level 3 with the help of laboratory that costs 80,000 elixir and six hours. Hair color of this sharpshooter turned pink to voilet.
No upgrade is available at this townhall. Giant remains at the same level 2.
Upgrading lab at TH 5 allows goblin to upgrade to its level 3 which costs 175,000 elixir in 9 hours. The trove bag of a goblin became bigger and light brown lines appear on it.
No upgrade is available and no visual change at th 5. Remains at the same level 2.

Upgrading barracks brings blasting troop “Wizard”. Upgrading it to level 2 takes 8 hours and 120,000 elixir.
As the TH 5 brings a spell factory with it, it also unlocks a spell “Lightning spell”. It upgrades to level 4 with 200,000 elixir taking twelve hours of upgrade time.
TH 5 has unlocked one more army camp which increased the troop capacity. It costs 250,000 elixir and eight hours to upgrade to level 5 per camp. Roasting chicken is replaced with a complete pork on the campfire after upgrading.
Townhall 5 unlocks a new building having a big magical bowl with a spoon to brew spells. It brings a lightning spell with it and takes 8 hours of building time, spending 150,000 elixir.
Upgrading the laboratory to level 3 costs 50,000 elixir and two hours. The mesh on its roof is turned into a dark curved surface having violet dots on it giving it a unique look. It is a very important building for the best Clash of Clans layouts th5.
Upgrading the barracks to level 7 takes 18 hours with 270,000 elixir, unlocking a new troop “Wizard”. The bombs are replaced with a silver pot near its hut.
No upgrade is available at this townhall level. It looks the same as the clan castle of the town hall 4. No change in visual appearance.
At TH5, the archer tower can be upgraded to level 5 and then 6 which takes five hours and costs 150,000 gold. Its look is completely changed with stronger pillars and a well-constructed stony roof with longer flags hanging on it.
Townhall 5 unlocks a new defensive building wizard tower which can be constructed in 3 hours with 120,000 gold. It can be upgraded to level 2 with 220,000 gold and 3 hours. It looks like a big rock carved to stand on its top and there are some violet crystals like elixir on it after upgrading.
Upgrading the cannon to level 6 costs 100,000 gold coins and takes two hours to upgrade. After upgrading, its base is converted into a marble table wrapped with a golden band.
Mortar can upgrade to level 3 which costs 100,000 gold and takes four hours to upgrade. Change can be seen on its barrel as it’s thicker now from the center.
It can be upgraded to level 3 taking 10 hours and 270,000 gold. The number of crackers increased which expanded its damage effects.
Now you have a total of 100 wall units to design a strong layout. Each wall can be upgraded to level 5 with 20,000 resources. Townhall 5 allows for the first time to utilize elixir coins on upgrading walls. The walls now look gold-coated.
You have a total of 5 gold mines at TH5 and upgrading each of them to level 10 costs 75,000 elixir and takes 10 hours of upgrade time. Now it is double-sealed and its supports are covered with metal fixed by silver pins.
You have a total of 5 elixir collectors at TH level 5, upgrading each of them to level 10 costs 75,000 gold and 10 hours to upgrade. Its structure is changed with the addition of some devices and supports on its base.
Upgrading it to level 9 costs 100,000 gold and eight hours. Its sphere-shaped storage has now bigger supports and a silver tap appears on its bottom.
Upgrading it to level 9 costs 100,000 elixir and 8 hours. Another blue seal with copper nuts on its top and sharp pointed pins on its base supports are added.
A pair of bombs is added in th 5. Now you have a total of 4 bombs which can be upgraded to level 3 which costs 10,000 gold for each bomb taking an hour. Sharp golden pointed pins appear on it which increases its damage to 29.
A pair of air bombs is unlocked with Townhall 5. You can add them with 4,000 gold and upgrade to level 2 by 20,000 gold in 1 hours.
No upgrade is available and no new spring trap is added at this townhall level. It looks the same as the spring trap of the town hall 4. No change in visual appearance.
