Clash of Clans Anti 2 Star Bases TH5 are designed to keep the main Townhall 5 building safe. These layouts will not let the attackers get 50 percent damage and the TH5 building should not be broken in the attack. So the attacker will get only 1 star on your TH5 base.
In this hybrid base TH5, (Hybrid Layout), the town hall is placed in the center section of the base along with a wizard tower, a mortar, a cannon, a gold storage, an elixir storage and an archer tower. Walls are placed around it. This section is connected with four sections.
A clan castle is placed in one section. Air defense is placed in the second section. In the third and fourth sections, two archer towers, a gold storage, an elixir collector and two cannons are placed. Walls secure these sections.
All the remaining buildings including elixir collectors, gold mines, a spell factory, barracks, a laboratory, army camps and other resource and defense buildings are placed outside the walls to confound the troops.

Here are the steps for the complete attack on this base with the above army:
With the above army, the attacker will cast lightning spells on the town hall, gold storage and elixir storage to destroy them. The attacker will deploy the wizards, a barbarian near the builder’s hut, and army camps to attack and destroy buildings. He will deploy the archers behind the wizards to make the attack vigorous.
Wizards will attack and destroy archer tower, air defense, army camps and elixir collectors. Our defense buildings including mortars and wizard towers will do a great attack on wizards and destroy them. After that, he will deploy the giants and the wall breakers to make the attack more intensive.
Archer towers and cannons will do a defensive attack on the giants and destroy them. He has already used the major part of his army just to destroy one side of the base. Our defense buildings will do a great attack on multiple troops and destroy them.
The army will do their best to enter the inner sections but our defenses will give them a tough time. Our defense buildings will strike against them and tear them down. As a result, the attacker will not be able to get a single star just because of our strong defense mechanism and good layout strategy.
