In this defense base th5, (Defense, Hybrid Layout), the town hall is placed in the center of the base with a wizard tower and a mortar. There are four sections around the town hall. One section has two cannons, a gold storage, and a clan castle. The second section is on the other side of the town hall.
It has a gold storage and an archer tower. In the third section, there is an archer tower and an elixir collector placed here. In the last section, there is an air defense, a cannon, an elixir collector and an archer tower placed here.
Army camps, Barracks and resource buildings are also placed in a sequence to cover the whole layout . They will help to slow down the opponent’s attack.

Here are the steps for the complete attack on this base with the above army:
With the above army, the attacker will cast the lightning spell on the air defense. Then the opponent will deploy the giants near the air defense. All defenses will keep attacking on the giants, and they will not be able to break the walls. At the same time, he will deploy the wizards behind the giants.
The wizards will start attacking the outside buildings. Giants will be able to destroy the air defense but other defense buildings will cause the 90 percent damage of the giants, so they are not able to destroy the other buildings.
Then the opponent will deploy the balloons to destroy the defenses. Some of the balloons will be damaged by archer towers and wizards towers. Giants and wizards will come to destroy some defense buildings and they will damage a wizard tower and a gold storage.
With his remaining army he will get nothing from this base and he will not able to get even three stars.
