Opponents with TH3 and TH4 can never get 2 stars but there is a chance for TH5 to get 2 stars against you. For war, we have these layouts for your town hall 4 so that you can start your journey in wars/CWL.
In this TH4 war base, (Defense, War/CWL, Anti Air, Anti 3 Stars Layout), we have designed this layout in three sections. The town hall is placed in the center section of the base along with an air defense, a clan castle and a mortar. Walls are placed around it uniquely. In one section, an elixir collector, a cannon and an archer tower are placed.
In the second section, a gold storage, an archer tower and a cannon are placed. These sections are also secured by walls. All the remaining buildings including a laboratory, builders’ huts, elixir storages, army camps, elixir collectors, a clan castle, barracks and gold mines are placed outside the walls to confound the troops.

In this article, I am sharing a demo of an attack on this base for better understanding.
Attacker’s Troops
Here are the steps for the complete attack on this base with the above army:
With the above army, the attacker will deploy the wall breakers near the outer buildings including gold mines, elixir collectors and some other buildings to attack on walls and destroy them. Our defense buildings will start attacking them.
Our defense buildings including archer towers and cannons will do a great attack on the wall breakers and destroy them. After that, he will deploy the archers near the multiple buildings to make the attack more intensive.
Then, he will deploy the barbarian kickers near the archers to make the attack vigorous. He has already used the major part of his army just to destroy one side of the base. Our defense buildings will do a defensive attack on barbarian kickers and destroy them.
The army will do their best to enter the inner sections but our defenses will give them a tough time. Our defense buildings will strike against them and tear them down. As a result, the attacker will get nothing just because of our strong defense mechanism and good layout strategy.
