Clash of Clans Anti 3 Star Bases TH5 are designed to limit the attacker to 2 stars or less. We don’t focus on saving the main Townhall 5 building and even 50 percent damage. These bases are planned so the attacker will not get 3 stars on your TH5.
In this anti 3 stars base TH5, (Anti Air Layout), the town hall is placed in the center section of the base along with an air defense and a mortar. Walls are placed around it. This section is connected with two other sections.
In one section, two gold mines, a wizard tower and two cannons are placed. In the second section, a clan castle, a cannon and three archer towers are placed.
All the remaining buildings including elixir collectors, gold mines, a spell factory, a laboratory, army camps and other resource and defense buildings are placed outside the walls to confound the troops.

Here are the steps for the complete attack on this base with the above army:
With the above army, the attacker will deploy the wall breakers near the walls to break the walls and make a way for other troops. He will cast lightning spells on the town hall and the air defense to destroy them. Our defense buildings including archer towers and cannons will do a great attack on wall breakers and destroy them.
After that, he will deploy the giants near the elixir storages and gold mines to make the attack more intensive. He will deploy the wizards near the outer resource buildings to attack and destroy them. Then, he will deploy the barbarians to make the attack vigorous. His army will destroy cannons, elixir collectors, gold mines and other resource buildings.
Our defense buildings including archer towers, wizard towers, mortars and other defense buildings will do a great attack on multiple troops and destroy them. The army will do their best to enter the inner sections but our defenses will give them a tough time.
Our defense buildings will strike against them and tear them down. As a result, the attacker will not be able to get two or even a single star just because of our strong defense mechanism and good layout strategy.
