Clash of Clans TH8 Anti 2 Star Bases are designed to keep the main Townhall 8 building safe. These layouts will not let the attackers get 50 percent damage and the TH8 building should not be broken in the attack. So the attacker will get only 1 star on your TH8 base.
In this th8 anti 2 star base, (Anti Everything, Anti 2 stars Layout), the town hall is placed in the center of the base. We have designed this layout into four sections which are present on the four corners of the base. A dark elixir drill, two archer towers, a gold storage, a cannon and three gold mines are placed in the first section.
In the second section, a bomb tower, a cannon, an archer tower, an army camp, an elixir collector and a gold storage are arranged. Two cannons, an archer tower, a dark elixir drill and two gold mines are placed in the third section. The last section has, two elixir storages, two elixir collectors, a cannon, and a mortar are arranged.
In the central space of these sections, a clan castle, three mortars, three air defenses, an air sweeper and three wizard towers are placed around the town hall to protect it during the attack. The remaining buildings including, barracks, builders’ huts and an army camp are outside the sections.

In this article, I am sharing a demo of an attack on this base for better understanding.
Here are the steps for the complete attack on this base with the above army:
With the above army, the attacker will deploy the barbarians in a section to attack some resource buildings. Cannons will do a defensive attack and destroy them immediately. He will cast earthquake spells near cannons and some other buildings to damage their structures.
He will deploy the golem near the archer tower and cannon in one section to destroy them. At the same time, he will deploy all of his healers behind the golem to heal it continuously during the attack. Our defense buildings including cannons, wizard towers and archer towers will keep defending the base.
He will deploy barbarian kickers near multiple buildings to do a vigorous attack. Our cannons and mortars will strike against them to slow down the attack. He will cast a rage spell on golem and healers to increase their powers. He will deploy a wizard near the base to clear the outer buildings.
In the meantime, he will deploy valkyries on the other side of the base to attack and damage nearby buildings with their axes. Our defense buildings will do an enormous attack and destroy some of his troops. He will cast a healing spell on his remaining troops to restore their powers.
After destroying the buildings in this section, the army will move to another section. They will attack the clan castle and town hall to destroy them. Our hidden teslas and mortars will keep defending the base. He has used his 70 to 80 percent army just to destroy two sections.
The barbarian king and golem will destroy some other defense buildings. Our archer towers, wizard towers and cannon will do an intensive attack and destroy them. As a result, he will not be able to get three or even two stars because of a strong defense mechanism and good layout strategy.
