Top War Base TH16 with Link, Defense, War/CWL Layout - Clash of Clans (48)

In this war base TH16, (Defense, War/CWL Layout), the town hall is placed in the middle of the base along with a clan castle, two multi-archer towers, two x-bows, a monolith, two air defenses, two heroes and some resources buildings. The walls partially secure these buildings.

We have designed this layout in multiple sections. An eagle artillery is placed on the right corner of the base surrounded by a hidden tesla, a giga tesla and two builders’ huts. Walls are placed around them. Two air sweepers, two inferno towers, two builders’ huts and two heroes are placed in two compartments near the town hall.

A spell tower is placed on the corner of these sections and secured by the walls. This small compartment is further connected with a section. An inferno tower, two ricochet cannons and a builder’s hut are placed in this section. There is another section in the right corner of the base.

Two air defenses, two mortars, a wizard tower and two gold storages are placed in this section. All the other buildings including bob’s hut, blacksmith, barracks, gold mines, some cannons, remaining wizard towers, archer towers and elixir collectors are placed outside the walls to confound the troops.

Here are the steps for the complete attack on this base with the above army:

  1. Deploy Flame Flinger.
  2. Deploy Barbarian Kickers.
  3. Deploy Ice Golems.
  4. Deploy Hog Riders.
  5. Deploy the Grand Warden and Phoenix.
  6. Deploy the Royal Champion and Frosty.
  7. Deploy Wizards.
  8. Cast a Rage Spell.
  9. Cast Freeze Spells.
  10. Cast Healing Spells.
  11. Cast an Invisibility Spell.
  12. Cast a Recall Spell.

With the above army, the attacker will deploy the flame flinger on the corner of the base to destroy nearby defenses. At the same time, he will deploy barbarian kickers near multiple defense buildings to attack at a time. The archer towers will do a defensive attack but barbarian kickers will destroy some archer towers with their shots. 

The mortars and wizard towers will keep attacking them. They will destroy the walls and move into the inner sections of the base. Our inferno towers and x-bows will do an enormous attack and tear them down. The flame flinger will attack the eagle artillery and destroy it by throwing fire flings. 

He will deploy ice golems on the three sides of the base to attack and destroy the defense buildings. Inferno towers and wizard towers will keep attacking them. He will deploy all of his hog riders behind the ice golem in the surroundings of the base to jump the walls and attack multiple buildings at a time. 

Our x-bows, scattershots and inferno tower will attack and destroy some of them. Spell tower will deploy a poison spell on his troops to make a toxic cloud and damage them. He will deploy the grand warden and royal champion with their pets behind the hog riders to do an intensive attack. 

At the same time, he will deploy the wizards behind the heroes to clear the outer buildings. Our inferno towers, ricochet cannons and hidden teslas will do a defensive strike and destroy some of his troops. The destruction of ice golem will cause a freezing effect in the surroundings for some moments. He will cast a rage spell on the group of his troops to increase their powers.

At the same time, he will cast a freeze spell on the inferno tower and spell tower to secure his troops from their attack. Ricochet cannons, scattershots and hidden teslas will keep attacking to defend the base. He will cast healing spells on ice golem and royal champion to restore their powers. 

Our defense buildings and heroes will keep attacking and give them a great deal of damage. He will cast an invisibility spell on his troops to make them untargetable for defense buildings. At the same time, he will cast a recall spell on troops to summon them back from another direction and do second strikes. 

Our x-bows, scattershots, inferno towers and multi-archer towers will do defensive attacks to slow down the army. His remaining troops are not able to attack the town hall. They destroy some outer buildings but our wizard towers and hidden teslas will attack and destroy them. 

As a result, even having a strong army, he will not be able to get three or even two stars in battle just because of a strong defense mechanism and good layout strategy.
